This Hawthorne Research shipping and refunds policy explains our order processing times, shipping procedures, and replacement policies.
1. Order Processing
Orders are typically processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation.
Processing times may be extended during periods of high order volume, holidays, or inventory restocking.
Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding holidays.
2. Shipping Origin
All orders are shipped from the United States using trusted shipping carriers.
3. Shipping Confirmation & Tracking
Customers receive a shipping confirmation email once an order is dispatched.
Tracking information may take 24–48 hours to update.
4. Delivery Timeframes
Delivery times vary by carrier and destination and are not guaranteed.
Delays may occur due to weather, carrier disruptions, customs processing, or incorrect shipping details.
5. Address Accuracy
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information at checkout.
Hawthorne Research is not responsible for delivery issues caused by incorrect or incomplete addresses.
6. Lost or Stolen Packages
Once a shipment is marked as delivered by the carrier, Hawthorne Research is not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Customers should contact the carrier to file claims when applicable.
7. Damaged or Incorrect Orders
We will provide a replacement if:
• The wrong item was shipped
• The product arrived damaged during transit
Claims must be submitted within 48 hours of delivery and must include order number and photos.

8. Returns & Refunds
Due to the sensitive nature of research products, all sales are final.
We do not accept returns for:
• Buyer’s remorse
• Incorrect orders
• Improper handling or storage
